INTEREST CALL: Welcome Message
An outcome of this conversation with Will Ingram, Riku will be soliciting other Beaconites for help in creating a message that automatically plays on the tablet when someone enters a new username.
This will likely be an audio recording with visuals and subtitles, in case the user isn't literate or is otherwise impaired.
Skills needed:
-Programming (Will Ingram has this covered)
- Artistic skills (drawing, painting, photography) The tablets don't play video really? so these images will be static, like a powerpoint. (Hope M., Jason G., Noct)
-Someone to be the voice! (Local Soft Angel, Aziraphale)
- People who want to review and critique the work so it can be continuously improved. (Eliot)
This will probably end up being a permanent page on the comms that get linked to new players like the other "welcome to ITN" info.
It's a way for players to leave their mark for incoming new players! Can confirm that doing good things for the community definitely puts your character into Rastus's good books, and who doesn't want a good feathery friend?
UPDATE: anyone can edit the document, please be considerate of each other's contributions!
