We'll have more info regarding the spirits and what they're getting up to at the feast once the event info post goes up, but the short answers:

1) Nah, they're happy to let y'all do as you please.

2) It'd depend on the spirit in question! Some would politely refuse as, y'know, some spirits munch on old wood and dirt and things of that disgusting nature. Others would gladly join in, though!

...And will subsequently fall comatose as well. Hm.
