You play such a complex character (okay, I'm canonblind, but what you portray is a complex character!) and you play him so well. He's not just here to be a good guy, he's not just here to be an asshole, he's got bits of both, and that makes him wonderfully well-grounded.

His complexity is absolutely a huge part of why I've enjoyed playing him for so long. Some elements of fandom treat him like this pure angel of a character because that's how we all remember him, but I love that what we're actually presented with in canon is someone with a lot of conflict within himself, and who's working within a system that he loves because of how it saved him personally, but a system that is essentially corrupt and awful at its core even if there are good people within it. I love dynamics like that and it's really fun to then be able to take him out of it and make him grapple with other big problems.
