i'm thinking that given the amount of drama we've got between them already i'd definitely love to give something to vanitas that he can dangle over sora's head? checking sora's list of things he doesn't have yet...

- he doesn't remember the sequence with kairi's letter at the end of khii
- he doesn't remember santa claus even being a thing
- he doesn't remember that riku and naminé are related, so he doesn't have any context for them working together at all
- he definitely doesn't remember a single bit of the memory witch stuff, not even the things that people could have told him afterward
- i have one mulligan for a thing that sora doesn't remember about riku? i still haven't thought about which riku memory he doesn't have, but i was definitely thinking about making it a ddd related thing
- sora demanding that xehanort tell him why he lied to the organization about their hearts
- he doesn't know anything about seasalt ice cream
- he has never heard the name "eraqus" before
- the list truly does go on, he really doesn't have much coherent stuff to work with

another way we can do this is to think of memories that you'd enjoy vanitas finding? so something that progresses vanitas' narrative or gives him context for something you'd like him to do next. 8) the world is ur oyster!

as for something sora could pick up of vanitas'... i'd either like something about how vanitas has really been trying to unite with ventus or something about his four years in the desert? right now all sora has of vanitas is that one bit where he appeared in notre dame, the fight at the end of khiii, and the death cutscene! sora has no idea who ventus either, and he has no idea that ventus was supposed to be in his heart. i know i mentioned ven is missing from sora's heart in february intro thread, but that was more fyi for you. sora truly has no idea that he was supposed to be carrying him with him! i don't know if i have much more other than that uou if i come up with anything else i'll let you know!
