Soldat figures they can take whatever bomb Weaver has been working on and stuff it into the silo, though the final exploration post will probably be needed to know if that's for-sure possible. And Weaver's drone only barely worked last time, on a smaller and much more contained monster.

They've gone up against and defeated green-eyes before. They have a dragon who is not like... super affected by green-eyes. They have the potions that might help the green-eyes' hallucinations but have not been tested against a World Eater. The silo is the safest option for on-the-ground troops, and in the shared memory has been shown to be effective against a previous World Eater.

Also, if the silo-bombs fail, Weaver can then launch her drone from the station as a back-up plan.

Stone is willing to be convinced for the drone option, but he's leaning slightly silo, too.
