He hasn't done anything to attempt to assist the community at large, but he has found what he believes to be a familiar soul in Wanda and has gone to the doctor, Gene, to learn he needs to eat to survive. When the Graves appeared he used it as a catalyst to soak up as much negative emotion as possible and boost his dark power, until he found Sora's grave and was faced with the reality things aren't as black and white as he believed. After this he dropped that little escapade and went off into the woods to try and find the Lighthouse, but got himself killed for his efforts. Despite still acting like a jerk on the network, this actually has had quite an impact on his internal world, but he's responding to it by lashing out just as much— if not more so— than before.
