Scarlett's defense mechanism is 'be an ass to everyone'. Except for children... though she'll deny that one forever. If I can get her to soften she and Misty should meet but I'll save her from Scarlett's... Scarletness (totally a word) for a while.

Allie can be hard at times but I just can't see her being that way with Misty. Her personality would appeal to Allie's softer side.

Completely and aggressively ignore that anything's wrong and be accessible at all times in the feeble hopes decent company comes along like she does, see how reasonable this sounds
