Player Plot: One Man, One Goal, One Mission

Hello! So for those of you with CR with Crowley know, he's not a big fan of being here the whole two weeks he's been around and is more than a bit obsessed with leaving. To that end, he's recruited himself an amnesiac assassin bodyguard (worthallthis) as well as his favorite angel (lunchbreaks) and is going to try to get the heck out of dodge with or (preferably, in his mind) without you.

To this end, Crowley, Aziraphale, and Bucky are going to steal the ferry on October 1st.

They are going to hop on once it's landed, take over the controls with Crowley's powers, and use Bucky's technological skills to steer the ship as far away from the town as possible. Not a terrible idea, right? Well, here's the thing:

Crowley and team aren't going to tell anyone in character they're going to do this.

This means your characters can get involved in this exploration, too! You can be trapped on the boat, collecting supplies, or meeting new people once Crowley and Bucky take control of the ship. You can also see what's happening and decide to jump on and help (or hinder) the exploration.

This exploration has been approved by the mods and I'd love to have plenty of people get involved to see what this could mean for the team! Let me know your thoughts!

I mean... I have no idea which way she's going to swing on this until it happens... but I have established that Scarlett goes down to the docks to collect the supplies.

This could be extra interesting considering Bucky thinks that Scarlett is one of his targets, so there's that.

OH MY GOSH YES! Crowley is not about killing anyone (unless they're eleven-year-olds who get in his way), so that could be an interesting confrontation if Bucky goes after her.

I have no idea where they'll be at when the 1st rolls around (upside Scarlett is maybe one of the only people that wouldn't hold a grudge over Bucky trying to kill her) but either way that will be an extra layer of fun.

Eliot will be collecting supplies. He's all for leaving this shithole, but not without Q, and he's not into the idea of innocent hostages being a thing unless political espionage is involved. ...he's also a powerful (albeit reasonably nerfed) kinetic, so. I dunno. I guess he'll probably try and stop the boat somehow? Or at least get the people who are trapped free.

Maybe he should just punch holes in the side and hope everyone can swim.

Crowley would definitely sympathize if his other person was on land (after all, Crowley wouldn't leave anywhere without Aziraphale). At the same time, he would probably try to fight back cause he wants out.

Crowley is a demon with reality-bending properties (also nerfed). I don't know if he could stop a kinetic, but maybe he could try to frighten him? He's been known in canon to make images so frightening that people promptly pass out. Is that something that you might want to try? Or just see if they could fight each other with their powers?

I'm open to him trying to scare the shit out of Eliot, but idk if it would make him pass out simply because he has mental wards set up to prevent psychological attacks (standard when you go to a school with a bunch of psychics). He also doesn't scare that easily so maybe he'd be stalled but not deterred.

Definitely down for some kind of fight. On top of kinetics, he also specializes in using fire and electricity with ease, which of course cast no light in the setting. I guess this is when he can find out that his fire doesn't catch anything at all either aside from burning the surface directly...which is good since he definitely shouldn't burn down the entire forest they're surrounded by. lol

That could be a great place to start. Crowley could try to scare him off and then get really annoyed when it doesn't work. In turn, Eliot could try a fire attack at Crowley, and fire doesn't affect him at all. Crowley could try for a few fire attacks of his own, and maybe Eliot could deflect them back?

This could create the feeling of a standoff and give them a chance to talk. Crowley is a bastard, but he's definitely not unreasonable and doesn't want to kill anyone.

It is in the realm of possibility that Bucky will tell her like, the morning of or something? Because Misty is also a handler and she should be informed of his mission to help them escape. If Crowley doesn't tell him not to tell anyone (which we're not sure yet if he's going to do, we'll know closer to the event).

I should add that I love absolutely everything about this, exactly the correct level of off the rails.

She is firmly on team You Can't Bail Without Everyone (or at least a hell of a lot more than three), though I think she'd have faith enough in this weird universe-dimension-thing ruining the effort itself that she probably wouldn't intervene? Though there'd also be pretty good probability of her tattling, which might be a point toward keeping hush-hush.

Whereas Bucky is just like, "My handler wants me to help him get out. So I'm helping him get out." He's not really even sure he wants to escape, this place is nicer than life. He's just doing his job XD

If he does tell her, it will literally be that morning probably, maybe even on their way out, in a fit of "this is a weird feeling I want to make it go away before I'm gone with other!handler and/or dead again".

depending on how many people seem to be involuntarily taken hostage by this/distress levels etc etc, he'd probably end up wanting to try and spider-man them to safety.

Quentin will probably be at the docks and will not like the fact that innocent people are being kept as hostages, and really, really not like them taking off with Eliot. Quentin knows some battle magic (which is nerfed to be less powerful than canon, but still--) and he specializes in minor mending magic which might come in handy if anyone gets hurt or if anything gets broken (like it says on the tin - only small objects need apply).

They're not really being kept as hostages, if it makes Quentin feel any better. They're just being transported somewhere completely against their will.

Probably a good idea! Get some people who desperately want off off of the boat, and I know Crowley won't stop you. The escaping is really for him and his team, everybody else is just collateral....uh, escapees.
