the basics
The last event was a time for mourning, and now, Robin wants to get the town back in good spirits! If they're all going to be stuck in this place, they may as well appreciate it, right? That's what she's aiming for, anyway.
So, she's organized a selfie scavenger hunt! At the start of the event, she'll post to the network with IC instructions for the game, and everyone will be tasked with finding up to 25 scavenger hunt items and taking selfies with them. These selfies will be submitted ICly on Robin's network post. Everyone who participates will win something, though the prizes are kept secret for now, and will be based on how many items each character manages to track down.
She has a few goals in mind for this event: to cheer everyone up, to help characters learn more about this world, and to give herself a little taste of the community. Some of the scavenger hunt items can involve mod interaction, but most will be left up to you folks to play out amongst yourselves. Feel free to use this post for OOC plotting, too!
the details
There are 25 items for characters to find, and each item is fully up to your own/your character's interpretation. They're intended to be somewhat vague and open-ended, as Robin doesn't necessarily want a stack of pictures of the exact same thing. This means you do not need to ask us if your idea will "count" toward your intended item. So long as you justify it in your submission write-up, you're good to go!
OOCly, the finds can be handwaved and, while the number of items will determine the prize, it's not a case of "more finds = better prize". We encourage everyone to submit their finds based on what their character would reasonably be able to accomplish! You don't have to worry about missing out on important stuff if your character wouldn't ICly find very much, if anything at all.
The instructions for submitting finds will be laid out on Robin's accompanying network post, but it boils down to this: Submissions will happen ICly on the network post, and you, dear player, will be asked to either link an image or write up a short description of the selfie your character took to fulfill the list item. So, while you do not need to thread every selfie, you do need to formally submit that selfie for it to count as a find. These submissions will happen ICly so that the whole town can see everyone's cool pics and comment accordingly! A town forum, Instagram-style. How fun!
Characters may absolutely team up for this event! One submission may count for multiple characters, and even multiple items, depending on what's in the picture! Characters could, for example, take a selfie together with each other's lanterns down at the beach, and this submission could count toward list items #3, #5, and #7 all at once! The only exception is that one "thing" in each selfie can only count toward one list item, so taking a selfie with your fabulous outfit from home could only satisfy either #9 or #10, not both.
But, ultimately? Don't worry too much about the rules! This is just meant to be a fun event, not something like AC reporting where we'll be analyzing each entry. Keep the rules in mind, but most importantly and at the risk of sounding like a cheesy camp counselor, have fun!

the tl;dr
- September 16: Robin posts to the network with scavenger hunt instructions
