LOCATION DISCOVERY: THE ARMORY

the basics

A group of brave explorers has just re-opened a long-sealed building in the woods near Beacon's north coast. If you've had a hankerin' for something deadly but haven't been able to convince Rastus to get it for you, now you don't have to! What looks like some mashup of doomsday prepper cache and sword store, Beacon's weapon shop, the Armory, has been discovered!

the details

The Armory is a large, flat, one-story building hidden in the woods near Beacon's north coast and the faint trail that leads that way. It's well hidden by some form of camouflage, though it's difficult to tell if it's paint or a sort of holographic technology; all that's clear so far is that it's difficult to make out from the forest around it. To add to this effect, the roof is covered in a layer of dirt, teeming with plant-life.

But once you've spotted it and entered the heavy metal door, you'll find a cornucopia of pointy things and other sundry weapons. Shelves and racks are filled with all manner of swords, knives, staves, maces, bows and arrows, lances— you name it, it's here. The only things notably absent are firearms (and ammunition) or explosives. And you won't find anything home-specific, either. (No unique weapons or weapons made from special materials. Nothing magic, either.)

There's a large table set up to be the shop's counter, and taped to it is a yellowed paper sign that reads "we do NOT provide guns and ammunition. ask at the range." with a little picture of a pistol X-ed out. Hung up on the back wall is a handmade sign that reads "THE ARMORY".

In the basement level, there's just a huge room with one wall covered in makeshift targets. And some of those targets are covered in axes. Apparently this was some sort of axe-throwing range? Oh well, they're free axes now!

Please note that this location is not yet easily accessible because there is no bridge over that section of the river.
