I endlessly adore your Q, and you're such a joy to write with. I've loved every single thing we've written together, and I feel so lucky having the opportunity to write with you and build scenarios together. Even if I weren't playing Eliot, all of your tags are engaging and entertaining, and whenever they pop up in my inbox, you always manage to make me smile about something, which I especially treasure given how hard some of my days are. Thank you so much for giving me the gift of your friendship and your Q. You're an absolute sweetheart, and I'm so damn lucky to have you.

I expected maybe a 'so, you don't suck too hard' and you give me this? You make me cry and playing with you and your Eliot is the highlight of everything. You make me think about how I play, you make me think harder, so much harder than I've ever done before, about character motivations and the sound of the character's voice. You push me to do better and I never would have the Q I do without you. You know our shared canon like the back of your hand and you challenge me when I start shit-- thank you so fucking much for that, btw. Also, you're amazing ooc, too. Like, so friendly!! Even if I go missing at odd hours or I leave shit posts (I know my tags sometimes lag hooks, but you just cover for me and I love that and I see that and I appreciate the shit out of it!)

so i'm super canon blind but i've really, really enjoyed the threads we've had so far! you're a really engaging player to bounce off, and i love how three-dimensional quentin feels and like, HE MAY HAVE DISAPPOINTED PETER SLIGHTLY with his superhero registration act lite^TM thing, but

i just want more awkward nerding okay because quentin's great and you're great.

As soon as this event is over, Quentin is going to slam Peter's inbox, you know it! He still wants his hands on one of those sweet, sweet trackers! Also, yes! Nerdy boys need to stick together. I've already told you how much I love tagging with you, because Peter really feels like Spider-man, only older and wiser and still such a dork that wants to save the world and is actually pretty good at it!

although by the way, i feel the need to mention that peter is totally torn on q not being familiar with spider-man. like ON THE ONE HAND it’s good because like, secret identity man. but also — kind of insulted! he’s spider-man! he wants to be in cool movies....

Now, see -- if Peter had been a hobbit? Or even an elf? Something cool you know? With bows and arrows and dangerous quests, and not just someone swinging around New York? That would have been noteworthy and awesome. But, Peter is just a superhero. Who needs to know about people dressing up in spandex when there's fantasy and Middle Earth to remember?

Truly, though. Quentin knows that there's someone called Spider-man? And the red suit with a spider on it? He'd know it if he saw it? But Superhero movies? Not his bag, baby.

honestly i think the best part about q and peter both being nerds is that (I GUESS??) they're very different types of nerd. peter doesn't have the foggiest about hobbits or elves beyond common pop culture knowledge. but science? OH BOY he'll enthusiastically geek out about that.

we don't have any cr yet, but i'd be remiss if i didn't tell you how wonderfully ic your quentin is. i'm admittedly only like. one season into the magicians but everything i've seen of him thus far icly has been great. you really capture his voice well!

one of these days i'll tag him with javert and hopefully he won't be such a jerk but. who knows... if q can handle penny though he can probably handle javert.

We should thread together! Yes! I am so canon blind to Les Mis and all I know is what Pytho has told me? BUT! I love the stoic and hard-shelled man you play, even if I have no idea who he is! And yes, I might be stalking Pytho's threads, so if you thread with them, I'm probably reading along? Because I'm just that curious! Quentin always needs more people in his life, even people who will remind his of Penny (who he is absolutely not dealing with in any sense of the word, after trying to throw battlemagic at him and failing like a moron - but he does manage to stay out of Penny's way a lot and try to use him like an Uber.)

what a good quentin who ambrose both likes and likes to tease. he's such a good dude and you write him so well and despite ambrose's teasing, he really does value quentin's opinion since he's a fellow magic user.

Yes for magic users and also yay for Ambrose, who's a sweetheart and we need to thread somewhere. After the event, they should go do magic in the forest! Or, go to the park for ice cream, which is just what Q does now? He takes people to the park for ice cream and magic. They should do that!

Having seen up to s4 I can say with absolute confidence that your Quentin voice is dead on, your tags are gorgeous and make me want to write better just to approach that excellent quality. I also really love that you aren't afraid to play up Q's character flaws, where he can be a prat because he thinks he has all the answers or spirals into depression and starts seeing insults in people's otherwise innocuous statements.

And it means a lot, that Quentin sounds IC most of the time. And yes, he's a prat a lot? And also, has issues. But- Riku is so lovely and so are you!

I'm totally canonblind but Q is so adorable?? And your voice for him is so distinct. I can't wait for all his shenanigans and I hope that he and Aziraphale can be cool soon because they'd be the cutest friends and I'm sorry Q but you need more friends and a hug!!!

They're going to be cool, because who could hate this angel for longer than like a couple of days before forgiving him for sinking the ferry with the love of Quentin's life still on it? He's going to get over that and bug Az in the library or at the docks as soon as this whole event stops messing with him
