As someone who played a ridiculous amount of MK games back like 20 years ago I can't believe there's story and characterization now and thank you so much for introducing it to all of us. Kuai is such a sweetheart and I really treasure him and his cool icy self. And you of course have been so much fun to write with since back in Hadriel and please, never go anywhere, you're always up for anything and I really enjoy your writing!

Kuai is so nice for being one of the iconic faces of the franchise and it's been so much fun to throw him somewhere that he can actually be nice without it harshing his rep as a Grandmaster.

Kuai is a joy. I love having this stoic but warm-hearted guy here, and you're always very fun to thread with <3 I love watching him and the other military guys make plans and grump at each other, he's got such a kind of gentle authority to him (you know, for a guy who yanks out spines and shit :D )

Look Kuai and Xayah are the life of the party right now. Maybe no one else knows it, but they definitely are.

The connect four thread might be my favorite thing. It's delightfully ridiculous.

before you apped Kuai to this game I had no idea MK was anything beyond a gory fighting game series. but there's depth! it's very neat.

I never expected to have a mortal kombat cast and I never expected to like Kuai as much as I do, BUT I DO. thank you for bringing him and I'm so glad I get to play with you in this game too <3

MK is weird because there's this really in-depth story that's always been sorta tangental to the game, but then they rebooted it and went hard on the story cinematics. I thought it was going to suck and then there was a scene where Kuai invites Hanzo over for tea and Kuai is trying SO HARD to be nice and honorable and Hanzo is being the grumpiest grump to ever grump and it was in that moment that I knew the Netherrealm story team was catering to me specifically.
