stats meme!!

welcome to the ✨STATS MEME✨
ever wanted to talk about your character's unreal height, woodsy smell, or astrological sign? no??? well, you can do it anyway!! use the handy form below to fill in the game on lesser-known details about your character! it can be a great reference for people to use in tags.
additionally, i will probably make a few charts/infographics about game stats, and this is the easiest way for me to get a bunch of weird details about the game population! it's not weird, stop looking at me like that!!!!

Bucky Barnes AKA Soldat
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 97, born March 10, 1917 (something like early 30s, discounting time spent in cryofreeze)
HEIGHT: 6' even
WEIGHT: 210lbs + whatever that damn arm weighs
GENDER: Biologically male, currently refuses to accept a gender (Sergeant is male)
MARITAL STATUS: Single and uninterested, thanks
HAIR: Brown
EYES: Light blue-gray
ORIGIN: Earth, USA, New York, Brooklyn
LANGUAGE: English and Russian, plus like a dozen other langauges, including French, Spanish, German, Japanese (an oldish version), and Mandarin (also an old version)
VISION
While they're nowhere near the tallest person here, Bucky (going by Soldat) does give off the impression of being "big": broad-shouldered, well-muscled, and generally wearing layers that make them look even a little bigger. They move gracefully, like the cliche'd "predator", making as little noise as is possible for someone who only ever wears his steel-toed combat boots, with a gait that is just a little uneven, due to compensating for the really heavy metal arm and all the internal bracing for it on the left side. It's been called a "murder-walk", though that's mostly when they're moving with particular purpose rather than just going from place to place. Said metal arm is either covered by the afore-mentioned layers, though the hand is always visible, or fully on display in a tactical vest made of kevlar and leather and loads of traps and gun holsters, with plates of body armor underneath. (The vest is currently toast, but we should be getting a new nearly identical one in January...)
Soldat's hair is long and brown and tends towards curly when they're actually taking care of it, though they hasn't really done much with hair ties and braids yet so it's mostly loose and messy, and in high humidity looks like it's trying to levitate. Their eyes are a pale blue that can shade to silver or stormy gray depending on the light and current level of lucidity. They don't smile easily or widely, except around a few people, and usually look kind of stoic and calm.
SOUND
Every line Bucky has in the MCU. Their voice is soft, lower-pitched, and a little rough when fully the Soldier, and goes a little higher and more brash, not to mention a lot more Brooklyn, when the Sergeant is out to play (this doesn't happen very often). They tend to chop conversation into pieces unless very relaxed or very urgent, speaking more in connected phrases than free-flowing sentences. The more uncomfortable they are with a situation, a conversation, or a person, the worse this gets. Every now and then words go away entirely, though not usually for more than a few minutes. The metal arm makes itself known audibly pretty regularly: little movements comes with the very quiet sound of servos turning, and big movements come with buzzing. The plates can click together when moving, and it will sometimes run through a recalibration loop that sounds like metallic purring.
SCENT
Leather, metal (various alloys to those with particularly gifted noses), coffee, gun oil, and vaguely vanilla-scented shampoo if they've bathed recently.
MISC.
Soldat does not touch people unless it's necessary for mission completion (patching someone up, carrying them to safety, that sort of thing) or they're very comfortable with a person. Even then, touches are very brief and limited usually to a hand on some easily-accessible part of the body. He generally gives people plent of personal space, too. (Image credit to Shelby.Dobson on DA, I think?)
The lantern is an old WW2 lantern, dented here and there but in decent shape, just a plain metallic color. It has metal shutters on it that blck out all its light when shut. They wear it on a rope either slung over one shoulder, or tied securely to the tac vest straps. (Look, those straps are useful for lots of things, not just looking badass.)

If it's close enough to be compatible to modern Chinese, though, it's probable that he is in fact speaking it at Cao Pi right now. He always tries to speak the same language as his conversational companions. I just don't know if it's close enough to be compatible.
