VISION
Quentin looks unassuming. Harmless. With his shoulders hunched against an invisible wind and his hair in his face. Most of the time, Quentin looks a little sad - he doesn't have resting-b face, but resting sad-face.
But when Quentin gets to talk about something he likes, something that interests him, he's very animated. He talks with his hands a lot, waving them about in conversation and using them to put emphasis on the important parts, or to show his confusion.
He wears layers, and he does so badly. It's t-shirts and hoodies, or t-shirts with a shirt on top. All in dull, dark colors - black, dark greens, dark browns for the most part.
His hair is too long to be called short, and too short to be raked behind his ears. It's that awkward length between short and long.
He's got a tattoo between his shoulder blades of a cursive Q. The tattoo used to house a Cacodemon, and for a brief time, it was used as a trap for his Niffin ex-girlfriend. Who lived under his skin. Yes, that was a thing that hapenned.
SOUND
There's always a lot of emotion in Quentin's voice, no matter what he's talking about. He feels a lot, and that shows when he's talking to people. It could be nervousness, or excitement. Happiness or annoyance, but whatever it is, there's always a lot of it coloring his voice. Quentin has a pretty neutral American accent, despite growing up in Jersey.
He has this thing? Where most of what he says comes out sounding like a question? His voice lilts up at the end, and it's more pronounced with people he doesn't know. He makes sounds, like pauses, when he talks - uh, uhm, oh. And again, as with his weird questions, it's worse when he doesn't know people or if he's feeling nervous.
Quentin talks here, being weird with Alice.
SCENT
Axe bodyspray and a desperate need to prove himself? Quentin frequently smells like books and the sweat scent from ballpoint pens. He showers when he remembers, or when Eliot gently nudges him to. He's not dirty, but also he doesn't shower all the time.
He doesn't wear aftershave or scents, so he probably just smells like skin.

Quentin is generally just weird. Awkward. And he really likes Taylor Swift
