Sometimes he'll think he's stuck in the last reset and lash out at those around him, or sometimes he'll think he's trapped in events from his past and retreat from everyone and everything.
Depending on where he's at in terms of level that day, he'll be completely convinced that he's somewhere else or just stuck with the unshakeable feeling of its presence. In the lesser stages he might get a little impulsive as he tries to do things that ground him in the present. He'll be both overwhelmed with guilt for his actions, and caught up in trying to justify them. Since he can't convince himself, he might try to convince you.
