I just got the image of late in the event, Ambrose being absolutely awful and mean and using magic or wherever you want to go, and at that point Rosi's just laughing at all of it while being internally like very deeply worried but he can't show it. That's fucked up, man. It's a good thing he understands by then that they're being affected by the place and Ambrose doesn't actually hate him, probably, right??
