Seems the dice are all too happy to oblige that request...
During the last push to break out of the tunnels and make it to the surface, Javert is separated briefly from the group by one of the green-eyed spirits, which leads him astray by projecting sounds of the fight and images of his friends down the wrong corridors. When he realizes he's been misled he turns, and the spirit launches at him and pins him to the ground. Lining its abdomen are eight pairs of small extra limbs with bladelike fingers, which jab and slash, piercing and slicing through his clothing. These lacerations are mostly minor, but the black gore that coats them, much like what he's seen in the buckets and hallways, burns into his skin, making him briefly nauseous.
Sensing its opportunity, the spirit's jaws immediately seek to clamp onto his face, but Javert strikes upward with his knife, lodging it through the creature's mouth and into its head. In shock, one of its bladed hands thrusts straight through Javert's abdomen, punching all the way to the ground.
The green-eyed spirit's body spasms abruptly, violently, before falling still. Javert will have to decide whether to pull its arm out of him, or let the spirit's corpse dissipate while that arm is still punched through his stomach - there are pros and cons to each option, so let us know which he chooses. But the green-eyed spirit moves no further, and Javert will be able to regroup with the others, however the massive internal trauma will absolutely require quick medical attention and lots of rest in order to recover.
