DAYLIGHT'S GRAVE Daylight’s grave will be a lit firepit, positoned on a stand. It's proportional to his size so it's pretty big, made of polished marble and accented with polished gold metal. The fire in the bowl doesn't emit light, of course, but the intensity of the heat cannot be denied when one gets close enough to it.
There's a plating that's been fixed on the stand of the firepit. Inscribed on it is the following:
Daylight vis Lornlit, the Sunsung. Kindled of Radiance vis Noxolarium, the Sundered Star. Kindled from Lorem Laurel.
Deserved better.
DAYLIGHT'S INTERACTIONS He’s going to make it a point to leave offerings to those he has friendly CR with! Even after since his first experience with what happens after giving said offers - he'll be visiting the NPCs' graves first, if he finds them! He wants to give his respects to those who were here the longest - he'll continue to leave offerings to show leave his condolences and respects to those he like well enough. It seems only right to acknowledge what happened to them and show he cares for them in his own way.
He'll be leaving paperflowers on each grave as his offering. If someone opens the flower, they'll see that Daylight had written a little note inside it. If I have Daylight leave an offering on your character's grave, you'll be getting a PM from me that stares what the note is upon the end of the event when your character gets the offering! (Also I should let you guys know that this paper is proportionate to his size so they're pretty big as well. Good luck, folks who get these.)
If people interact with his grave and he learns about it, he'll be visibly uncomfortable with this but not talk about his discomfort because or ask them to stop because? What can he say? "Don't pay respects to my death?" That seems pretty rude to do so he'll just reenact the This is Fine meme in his processors.
DAYLIGHT'S DEATH For those who interact with Daylight’s grave, they'll receive a full-blown experience of the events of Daylight's death. They'll see it, they'll hear it, and they'll not only feel his emotions but hear his thoughts too. He died from being shot through the chassis after he took the shot for someone else, jumping in the second he sees they're in danger. His chassis/chest was essentially torn to shreds from the blast and, despite his friends and fellow crewmates' interventions, they were unable to stabilise him.
So the person will not only feel pain and fear as Daylight succumbs to his (pretty painful) wounds but also feel the sense of betrayal and bewilderment since he got shot by someone he trusted and thought of as a close friend. The fact the person is staring at him, showing no remorse in her face whatsoever, doesn't help alleviate the pain. Over-all the death is meant to evoke a pretty painful and terrifying experience. Though it should be noted is that, despite it all, not once does he regret taking the shot.
