...You had me at the AI in his head !!!! IDK if you're familiar with the 100, but there is a huuuuge storyline involving that, spanning several seasons. I'd love to get CR with these two, not just for that but for space things!

Oh man, I'm only the tiniest bit familiar and I know SPACE is involved but hell yes let's get the CR train rollin'. Scott's view on AI is a little skewed from what's probably considered normal because 1, his father developed the one in his head so he trusts it and 2, because his father developed it he grew up comfortable with the idea of AI even though the research got his family name black listed and...stuff...but SEMANTICS.

Also SAM has saved his ass a million times except for this one time where it kind of deaded him but semantics again!! Not important!!

I'm the same!!! I'm canon blind to ME:A but man that sounds absolutely fascinating to me, all of it. I love that it's his dad who developed the one in his head, let's hear it for scientific engineer dads woohoo!

Clarke's feelings on AI are super-conflicted; at the canon timepoint I'm taking her from she's still pretty untrusting because an AI caused nuclear war that wiped out 85% of humanity, but she's had a different version of the same AI in her own head briefly who ended up helping her. So I'd love to have her hear how SAM saved him!!

Oh my god though, I love how that's kind of what people in Scott's canon are afraid of when it comes to AI and synthetics, whoops! But yes Scott can and will offer an opposing/more positive perspective on AI whenever he can so he would absolutely tell her if it came up! Though for him a lot of it has to do with who develops said AI and why...and how sentient is said AI, since SAM actually learns along with Scott he develops along with him so he's more inclined to believe his good intentions, if that makes sense. BUT YEAH omg I'm way excited for this CR.
