I'm an old cat lady from Germany, which means my time zone is likely off from many of you, and I hope you'll forgive if that means plenty of backtagging and the occasional hiccup in terms of grammar/vocab.

I'm bringing you Stranger Things' Eleven, aka Jane Hopper, aka a 14 year old who up until 3 years ago was held in a lab as Experiment 011. She goes by El now, it's cute, and she's only very mildly totally traumatized forever. More importantly, she's still learning to be a person - or was, until she died. She has telekinetic powers, as well as an interesting version of telepathy (for more info, feel free to snoop on her app and her permission post), gets nose bleeds from power usage, and has approximately 0 fashion sense.

Her lantern is the same bright blue colour as the hair tie around her left wrist that just barely covers a tattoo depicting the number 011 on her inner wrist. The lantern is a little bit rusty and shows some signs of wear (think some scratches and dents). It has a warm light, though, so that's nice, right?

I play Jason Grace here from the book series by Rick Riordan about teenage demigods who lack adult supervision and go on ridiculous world saving quests that really should have ended in death long before now.

And yet Jason got the short end of that deal and I'm still not happy about it 8D

Anyway, I look forward to him befriending El. He's 16 so only a few years older than her and he definitely enjoys finding other teenagers who got their life cut short...but also powers.

my name is jenna and i'm bringing hermione granger into this rodeo circus. she's fresh from book 7, fairly early on, if you're curious — though i do endlessly regret not being able to app book 1 hermione just for the endless Exasperated Sighs and Tiny Glares she would have thrown about.

not that she won't be exasperated and/or glaring at people now. she's just... mildly better about it.

anyhow, she'll be setting herself up in one of the single-bedroom a-frame units (if my memory serves correctly, grand portal #1 was the grand name of it?) and eventually establishing a witch's plant collection outside for Reasons, and she's got an endless supply of fun things in her bag that will get whipped out eventually for one reason or another!

Hello, this is Missy (she/her) and I'm brand new to In The Night! o/ I'm bringing in the Big Damn Hero who told the old Kings to go f--- themselves from Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive, Nyx Ulric!



Nyx was part of King Regis' Kingsglaive which is like an elite royal guard of sorts, connected to the King's magic. With being here now, he's going to be connected to Noctis' magic since Noctis is the young King and you can bet he's going to make sure to keep an eye on him. please don't make his afterlife difficult, noctis. Nyx is 32, a soldier, doesn't put his own life before others, and is a warping master when it comes to that Lucian magic. He doesn't talk much about himself (got some trauma in there) but he's always willing to listen to what others have to say and if you ever need help, he will be there to get you out.

I can be found at good evening #5595 for discord or ourselves on plurk or even PM if you ever want to discuss things. I really enjoyed all his TDM threads and look forward to warping him around here! o/

Heya, I'm Fade (she/her) and I'm new here. I've been out of rp for a bit and I'm excited to be back. I can be reached at mirrorfaded or by pming this journal. My tagging speed varies a lot depending on my workload (I'm in freelancing hell right now). On a side note, I am dyslexic and occasionally misspell or misread things in tags. I do my best to avoid that, but occasionally it happens. If it does happens, let me know and I'll fix things! I also love horror movies, my cat and dog, and dnd. That's pretty much all that happens on my plurk.

I'm bringing you Kettara Bloodthirst from one of the obscure World of Warcraft comics. Despite the name she's pretty friendly, or will be once she gets over the shock of being surrounded by mostly humans. She's fairly young, technologically inept, and prone to smashing things with an axe. But she's also a curious learner and will be intent on learning about Beacon and everyone around her. Be prepared, because she will bombard your characters with questions.

That being said, she also comes with a lot of cultural baggage and definitely Has Opinions on how everyone should be doing things. She also comes from a time and place where solving conflicts via ritualized combat to the death seems perfectly reasonable and is going to be a little weirded out that it's....not, here, or in most of the places other characters come from.

I'm very glad to be here and excited to meet everyone!

I have here Prompto Argentum from Final Fantasy XV and I understand that he's actually been here before. Feel free to greet him like he's supposed to know you and confuse him, he'll be fine.

For whoever isn't familiar with Prompto, he's a cheerful sunshine dork with a lot of issues that he keeps buried as deeply as possible. He likes photography, bad puns, and cute animals and is a bit of a tech geek. He likes the treasure-finding part of adventuring but hates things like getting wet, getting dirty, encountering wildlife, and Actually Hiking Anywhere.

He'll be living with the rest of his cast in Chapel Rock #5 because they won't let him live anywhere else let's be real.

I'm excited to play with you guys and will get an IC intro up soon!

Hey folks! It's Gail, your resident Bucky player, bringing character number two: a grouchy but good-hearted old man who is actually an alien dragon-shapeshifter and who has never actually seen a human before. There aren't any on his planet.

He's very very old (he literally died of old age to get here, hahahahaha), a lot frailer than he's used to being, and in his dragon-y form he's like as big as a small house. Seriously, he's big, he's the biggest one in this image. He's also very confident and physically affectionate, albeit sometimes expressing itself by swatting and shoving the backs of people's heads and calling them idiots. His lantern looks like it's made out of glass flower petals, and glows kinda purple-y.

I'm specifically looking for someone for him to room with, if anyone's interested! He'll be staying at the Invincible for pretty much the duration of his time in Beacon, because he's used to living in a giant tree surrounded by his massive family, and the Invincible is the only place he can hear enough people at once to make him feel comfortable. Anybody want an old man sharing their room with them?
