immortalaccursedBeacon's least favorite ambulatory slime dumpster is not having a good month due to a stack of poor life choices. He will be ill and in pain and leaking darkness everywhere. Fun right?
March 9-16 it will be noticeably darker at the Landmark. Ardyn's miasma will leak through the building, seeping through areas damaged in the storm and eating any light it can find. People staying at the Landmark will notice their lanterns are dimmer and the shadows are noticeably darker. It will be harder to see within the building at this time. Was that a wisp of black smoke you just saw? Eh, it was probably nothing.
Ardyn himself will be very reclusive, shut up in his room and quietly suffering. Okay, sometimes he breaks something in frustration but mostly he's quiet.
Once his illness has passed and he just has to deal with the status effect from the hint machine he will be able to draw the miasma back into his body and the lighting will shift from poor to the usual not great.
Important note: Despite dimmer lights, the integrity of people's lanterns remains the same. Characters will be fully able to just go about their un-lives as usual. Just try not to bump into anything too much.
