We're so glad to have you! Feel free to use this post to introduce yourselves to the rest of the game. If you've already posted an OOC intro in this comm, feel free to repost/link it here if you like! We'll be doing a mod-posted OOC intro like this for future app rounds, as well.

If you haven't heard back about your app yet, don't worry! We're hard at work processing the remaining apps, and we'll have all acceptance notices/questions out by tomorrow morning. We also won't be posting the IC intro log until all acceptance notices have been sent out. For more info on all this, you can check out our mod plurk about it.

Not sure where to begin? Letting other players know your name, pronouns, who you play, and how to contact you is a good starting point. And, of course, shitposting with gifs and memes is always good too. Welcome aboard!

hello everyone! my name is kas, and i'm bringing you Shadow Moon from the book American Gods. shadow is an ex-fitness trainer, ex-bodyguard, and ex-con who would really, really just like to rest. recently, his wife died; he was released from prison; he met a bunch of gods (made manifest because of humanity's belief in them); and he was roped into a war between the old gods and the new ones — and that's just the tip of the iceberg. He's Tired, fam.

shadow is generally a compassionate person. he makes a good neighbor, albeit an introverted one. thanks to his canon point, he'll accept the situation quickly and is likely to try to help make the afterlife easier for others. also thanks to his canon point, he currently has no shoes. :( please hook him up! his info & permissions post is here.

POWERS OPT-IN: if you're interested in freakishly accurate guesses about your character, potential memory shenanigans, or shadow possibly seeing what your character is doing at a distance, check out the powers opt-in section of his info post! if your character is a supernatural being (e.g., deity, ghost, leprechaun, Bigfoot, etc.), there's some extra stuff in there for you. :)

i'm obviously super biased, but YES DO CHECK IT OUT, it's fantastic. i'm one of the few people in the world who hasn't seen endgame yet, but i really enjoyed captain marvel and am looking forward to seeing how these two interact! ♥ also sending you a plurk friend request shortly!

Hello! I'm Kait and I've not caught up on S2 yet but I loved how excessively Bryan Fuller the first season was, so I'll have to find a download somewhere. I'm not sure what cr would work between Shadow and Arya, but I think he might have a bit more in common with Daryl Dixon, who I plan to bring in next app round. You never know, though!

I friggin love American Gods (the book far more than the TV show). Would LOVE cr with Jesse and Shadow! No ideas yet, as I'm waiting for the game to open before making any plans, but I'll definitely be on the lookout for cr building opportunities. I'll def check out Shadow's powers opt-in, but I'm gonna straight up say I'm p much down with any power stuff with Jesse.

I said in my top-level to this post that I only add people i have ongoing cr with (cos my primary account is more personal than rp related, really), but I decided on a whim last night to make an rp plotting specific plurk account. So, feel free to hit me up at lisaneedsbraces! :)
