We're so glad to have you! Feel free to use this post to introduce yourselves to the rest of the game. If you've already posted an OOC intro in this comm, feel free to repost/link it here if you like! We'll be doing a mod-posted OOC intro like this for future app rounds, as well.

If you haven't heard back about your app yet, don't worry! We're hard at work processing the remaining apps, and we'll have all acceptance notices/questions out by tomorrow morning. We also won't be posting the IC intro log until all acceptance notices have been sent out. For more info on all this, you can check out our mod plurk about it.

HELLO I'm Lauren and I know many of you from Hadriel, where I played a flaming pile of literal evil. Well, guess what? Here I'm gonna play a flaming pile of good.



Rosinante Donquixote of One Piece is joining you all from moments after his pretty horrific execution by his own brother so I'm sure he's a perfect example of mental health. He's a
Marine but used to working alone and undercover and as of the TDM he's already side-eyeing everyone real hard and trying not to think about what all just went down in his life. He's too tall for his own good, struggles to stay balanced on his feet, and he's a complete sweetheart, too good, too pure.

hi, everyone! i'm caitlin and i haven't been in a game in literally forever, so don't mind some of my rust c: (also a lot of you are totally new faces to me, but that just makes this even more exciting)

i have with me carol danvers (aka captain marvel, but they haven't actually dropped that title yet, so she has no idea) of marvel, specifically mcu, fame! for those who are canonblind, carol is a former us air force pilot turned superhero who got a bunch of cosmic powers after a plane crash about six years ago, and was subsequently abducted by some members of an alien race known as the kree and taken to their home planet, hala, where they erased her memory and basically were a collective bag of giant dicks while pretending to have her best interests in mind. yikes. she's coming to you from after the events of captain marvel, so she has no idea who this thanos guy is because that's way before her time, and she'll be entering the game after a heroic death protecting some innocent people (there's more in her app; i don't want to accidentally spoil anyone who might not have seen the movie yet and wants to!).

also, she has a terrible sense of humor and thinks she's funnier than she actually is, so this is my blanket apology for her in advance 😬

hello everyone! my name is kas, and i'm bringing you Shadow Moon from the book American Gods. shadow is an ex-fitness trainer, ex-bodyguard, and ex-con who would really, really just like to rest. recently, his wife died; he was released from prison; he met a bunch of gods (made manifest because of humanity's belief in them); and he was roped into a war between the old gods and the new ones — and that's just the tip of the iceberg. He's Tired, fam.

hello hello everyone! i'm z, and i bring with me number five from the umbrella academy! for the canon-familiar, he'll be coming in from 1x07, "the day that was," after collapsing from his injuries, whoops. everything's fine.

five is a child superhero turned sole apocalypse survivor turned time travel assassin who jumped ship to try to prevent the apocalypse. however when he tried to time travel home, he accidentally physically de-aged himself to 13...he's 58, so that's sure a thing he's dealing with. he's a foul-mouthed prickly bastard, but he cares underneath it all. somewhere deep underneath it all. i'm so sorry for him, y'all.

r-repost, and to paraphrase: peter parker, aka spider-man of marvel comics (616). he's from the middle of the recent hunted arc which means he's died (sort of) courtesy of kraven the hunter. if you're marvel comics familiar but haven't caught up with spencer's run (or taylor's on friendly neighborhood which frankly is bomb), lmk and i'll avoid spoilers. whilst i'm p sure most people are aware of the whole "guy w/ spider powers" thing, the main difference between 616 and recent movie counterparts is that he's an adult and has subsequently Been Through A Lot. he's still a nerd tho.

Hi, everyone! I’m Ree. I’ve played in a few different games but recently only with Nyx Ulric from ffxv in Duplicity. I’ve brought in Alexios from odyssey. He’s a soldier and former cult member who is trying to have a life.

- spoilers below -

Alexios, called Deimos by the cult, was tossed off a cliff as a baby due to a prophecy saying that the heirs of leonidas of Sparta would cause problems for the wrong people. He loved but the cult lied to his Mater and raises him instead. The head of the cult tortured him as a child to rid him of weakness and the cult used him as a weapon to do their dirty work.



He eventually learns that his mother and father are alive, as well as his sister Kassandra. Over the next few years she never gives up on him which allows him to cut the strings the cult had on him and rejoin his family. He was able to spend some time with them before he was pulled into the game.

hi guys!! i'm rachel and i'm bringing you this stupid, overly-dramatic cop, javert from les miserables. he's from the book, and is showing up right after having a Big Moral Crisis because the criminal he's been hunting for seventeen years turned out to be a good person and saved his life.



he's such a mess, i don't know what else there is to say. he doesn't have much of a life outside of being a police officer and is generally pretty cold and standoffish when you first meet him. but that might change! he doesn't like being idle so he'll probably be lurking around every dark corner and patrolling the streets watching everyone. if you want to me steer clear of any suicide mentions or religious discussion, be sure to comment to his permissions post.

Hey there, everybody! I'm Melly. My timezone is GMT +8 and I'll be bringing in my original character, Daylight vis Lornlit. Feel free to call him 'Day', if you want.

Daylight is from a sci-fi setting set in the 2100s, where one of the key events of this universe is an intergalactic civil war that spanned for centuries and across planets. Though he has strong ties to the war thanks to his parents and has a Lot of Plot Stuff going down in his background, Day is just trying his best to be a good person and help those he can along the way.

He's excitable, cheerful, and always up for an adventure. He tries his best in whatever he does and believes in his friends no matter what - Though it did cause him to arrive here, thanks to dramatic shenanigans back home. He's going to do his best to stay cheerful. Easier to ignore everything that happened to him, after all. What is acknowledging your very terrible and terrifying death, am I right.

➻ she's old, though the books make it sound as if she's not entirely sure how old

Hello! I'm Danielle, one of the game's beta testers and discord moderators! aye lads! my name is lauren (she/her) and i'm comin atcha with one (1) medic. wade's from the movie saving private ryan which is, as the title implies, about 8 guys being sent out to find private ryan, a paratrooper whose 3 brothers were KIA, and bring him home. wade is the squad's medic, a quiet, compassionate man with nerves of steel under fire. unfortunately, he's also extremely impulsive if someone gets hurt, so on multiple occasions he has to be physically restrained so that he doesn't endanger himself trying to get to them. otherwise he's very mild-mannered and doesn't really react to antagonism, so he gets along with most people, and tends to be considerate (although someone will have to break it to him that smoking indoors isn't something you do any more).

ingame wade's gonna be rooming with rosinante (callada) and mary (withsadness), and will be offering medical care/accompanying explorations along with his fellow medic gene (preseance).

hey there folks. my name is anya (2???) and i'm flying in with this really sad robot kara from detroit: become human. she's from a earth future where androids are commonplace among every day life expect things start to get messy when they start going "deviant" aka start to break their programming. kara breaks her own programming in order to save and protect a little girl from her father, a man she ends up shooting and killing. oops. things just go down hill from here.

i'll have her flowchart of decisions up on her info page soon but kara basically comes from the worst ending possible in the game aka everyone is dead and the revolution is violent. right before she arrived here, her adopted daughter even died in her arms so fun times for everyone. needless to say, she's going to be on the overwhelmed, depressed side of things for awhile.

He's coming from the canon point in Altissia, after the showdown with a certain baddie who tries to do certain bad things to certain Prince. He recklessly uses powers of a small object and here we are. DEAD. ((I am being vague because of spoilers, I know the game is OLD...ish, but Ignis DLC isn't that old... I think))

I never have a clue how to start these things but also have a desperate need to seem quirky and cool and fun which is why you get this rambly bit of "surely admitting my struggle in an entertaining way is endearing".

I'm Hanna, and I'm bringing the book version of Brienne of Tarth from "A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones" to Beacon.

For those not familiar with canon, Brienne is in short a noblewoman that is about 20 years old who has been bullied her entire life for being considered terribly ugly by the standards of her culture. She is "well over six feet" (quote from the author) and very strong, and has trained for years to be a fighter. It gave people even more cause to think of her as "not a real woman".

She is very shy and socially awkward, so while she is built as a brick shithouse she is extremely soft on the inside.

Hello all my name is Kit and I'm bringing one really pissed off lady scientist who died because she got blackmailed into doing the right thing, so it just goes to show no good deed and all that. She's got a duplicate (not a twin, it's literally her, local woman thought who should I fall in love with oh yes myself) that she desperately misses, but good luck getting her to admit it.



She's coming in before the events of her game even happened, so there's no cryptic messages or mystic powers, just one British woman who is tired of Americans and religion and pretty much everyone and everything. She's sarcastic and incredibly intelligent and knows it, but she'll have to start relying on others in this game, so let's see how fast she learns how to socialize.
