welcome to in the night.

We're so glad to have you! Feel free to use this post to introduce yourselves to the rest of the game. If you've already posted an OOC intro in this comm, feel free to repost/link it here if you like! We'll be doing a mod-posted OOC intro like this for future app rounds, as well.

If you haven't heard back about your app yet, don't worry! We're hard at work processing the remaining apps, and we'll have all acceptance notices/questions out by tomorrow morning. We also won't be posting the IC intro log until all acceptance notices have been sent out. For more info on all this, you can check out our mod plurk about it.

Not sure where to begin? Letting other players know your name, pronouns, who you play, and how to contact you is a good starting point. And, of course, shitposting with gifs and memes is always good too. Welcome aboard!

Hey there, everybody! I'm Melly. My timezone is GMT +8 and I'll be bringing in my original character, Daylight vis Lornlit. Feel free to call him 'Day', if you want.

Daylight is from a sci-fi setting set in the 2100s, where one of the key events of this universe is an intergalactic civil war that spanned for centuries and across planets. Though he has strong ties to the war thanks to his parents and has a Lot of Plot Stuff going down in his background, Day is just trying his best to be a good person and help those he can along the way.

He's excitable, cheerful, and always up for an adventure. He tries his best in whatever he does and believes in his friends no matter what - Though it did cause him to arrive here, thanks to dramatic shenanigans back home. He's going to do his best to stay cheerful. Easier to ignore everything that happened to him, after all. What is acknowledging your very terrible and terrifying death, am I right.

If you'd like to do keep our TDM threads canon if we threaded together, then I'm down for that! Just let me know. And if you want to get a hold of me, feel free to hit me up through my PLURK, or other methods of contact I have available. I hope we have a lot of fun while in the game!

Oh my gosh yes, please. I'm really enjoying our thread too and I would love to have it be their canon first meeting, if you're up for it.

Daylight would just be the biggest and brightest adoptee....! He would love to help Dick out with his work later on in the game, be it being a cop or a vigilante. (He'll be terrible at stealth but make it up with... support and enthusiasm.)

I'm still sad that we didn't get a chance to thread more in AGN (I was the Tyrion and Cassandra) there, and I definitely want to rectify that in this game.

Also I feel like Annie definitely needs someone like Daylight in her life to be deeply confused by. What is this wholehearted trusting people thing?

I’m sad AGN closed down too - I really enjoyed the thread with Zita and Tyrion, ahhh - but I’m excited to have a chance to play with you again. And with such a cool character as well!! I hope Annie is ready to have a giant metal sunshine boy trying to spread optimism all the time.

Since I replied back to the thread, I definitely would like to continue the TDM thread, haha. I just love how the two are basically squinting at the other during their chat.

And got it! I'll keep a note of that for Day when he decides to check on him because hey...! They had a chat that had no stabbing or hints of stabbing! That's a good sign.

Yessss. I’m so sorry we missed each other in Acata when I dropped at the time but I'm thrilled for the chance for Washington and Daylight to run across each other.

I hope he's ready for the big robot sunshine boy because Daylight is going to do his best to be upbeat and positive as possible, despite the mild setbacks they're all facing.

Hi! I have no plans right off the bat for Jesse, as I'm going to wait and see how the game unfolds over the next month first before deciding what direction to take Jesse in. But cheerful and always up for adventure sounds like something Jesse needs! So, I'll def be on the lookout for cr opportunities. :D

That's really exciting to hear. I don't know a lot about Breaking Bad, admittedly, but I read Jesse's app during the processing and he sounds super cool! I can't wait for him and for Day to meet up when the chance presents itself.
