welcome to in the night.

We're so glad to have you! Feel free to use this post to introduce yourselves to the rest of the game. If you've already posted an OOC intro in this comm, feel free to repost/link it here if you like! We'll be doing a mod-posted OOC intro like this for future app rounds, as well.

If you haven't heard back about your app yet, don't worry! We're hard at work processing the remaining apps, and we'll have all acceptance notices/questions out by tomorrow morning. We also won't be posting the IC intro log until all acceptance notices have been sent out. For more info on all this, you can check out our mod plurk about it.

Not sure where to begin? Letting other players know your name, pronouns, who you play, and how to contact you is a good starting point. And, of course, shitposting with gifs and memes is always good too. Welcome aboard!

hey hey night-dwellers, it's ya girl mina, coming at you hot from the murderous european summer. for your consideration, i'm offering up melisandre of asshai from a book series y'all have heard of before, a song of ice and fire. for those of you who already know her: i'm sorry. for those of you who are blissfully unaware: i will be sorry. but also here's a quick summary of her whole deal:

➻ she's a priestess and believes firmly in r'hllor, also known as the lord of light
➻ she's old, though the books make it sound as if she's not entirely sure how old
➻ special powers include knowledge of alchemy, blood magic (up to, but not limited to shadowbinding), and clairvoyance
➻ when in doubt, sacrifices people
➻ this entire game setting is basically her worst nightmare

so she's a right old ball of sunshine. if we had a tdm thread already, i'd love to keep it as canon (message me if you'd rather not). also: due to the nature of her canon, i have an opt out post in her journal that you can use if you'd like me to avoid specific subjects, or if you'd rather prefer to not deal with mel and her bullshit altogether. c:

SAME they're so good already! and i'd love to continue their tdm thread on the intro post –– mel is actually going to move into one of the rooms in the church, and would probably try to persuade jesse to do the same. it's a holy place! it's safe!!
