Hellooooo, In the Night!

I'm Crow, and I bring this dork, Ellever 'Elle' Brandt, with me. Elle is the half-eldritch daughter of the creature called Conquest in her world and is prophesied to end the world. She's worked as a security expert for most of her life in the company her father created, which also takes in cryptids and supernatural creatures in need of shelter/protection (and some of them also work as employees, hiding in plain sight). Thus she's hugely into cryptozoology, biology, occult history, all sorts of things like that; she didn't go to school for any of it. She usually leads the expeditions to find the Weird Shit. Her best friend is the car-sized moth that hatched out of the remains of the Mothman, so you could say she's pretty damn odd. But she's also friendly and enthusiastic, if it helps.

Here is a rundown of her abilities, some of which will be toned down for this game, and other info. She can be hurt now, and since that's supposed to only happen when the Apocalypse occurs, that's gonna be fun times for her massive guilt complex.

Hey folks! Chase here, brand new to the game and bringing in Midge Maisel from the Marvelous Mrs Maisel! Midge is a 27-year-old Jewish gal from the Upper West Side, a divorced mother of two, and an absolute firecracker from the 50s. She's recently discovered that not only is the world of stand up comedy fun and therapeutic, but she's also really, really good at it. She talks a little too fast, never misses a beat, and constantly looks fabulous--on the flip side, she struggles with impulse control and wrestles with her perfectionist tendencies. Her canon point is the s2 finale, where she's been asked to go on tour with a famous rat pack-esque singer! It's a shame that won't really happen. Since she's here. Whoops.

She's going to be coming in with a shitton of things, so someone please help her wrt the boat! And let me know if you want to continue TDM threads. As a side note, I'm going to be on-and-off busy until the 10th so my tagging will be a little sporadic until then!

HEY FOLKS it's your head mod mippins here since, heyo, got me a pc now!

i've brought in my trash boy Newt Geiszler from Pacific Rim, whom you may recognize from my sample app that i've finally cashed in. he's a biologist/mechanical engineer that would've gone on to save the world from an alien invasion if i wasn't pulling him from a very rude canon point. if you've seen the movie, remember that time newt builds a pons system from garbage to drift with the kaiju brain and learn critical info about closing the breach? my light auing to kill him means that, when the drift triggered a seizure, hermann didn't find him in time, and he died in the lab. rip newton (and the rest of the human race, ig).

typically, newt's genius and his expertise in biology and engineering would make him a huge asset to the game, but since i'm a mod, haha no dice dude you're destined to be useless because i'm not here to solve my own mysteries. he's still here to help with stuff the rest of y'all put together, though! he will accept asspats and ego boosts as payment for his help.

newt will likely be lying low for most of the month since we've got the enter mr. sandman event coming up, again, not here to solve my own mysteries. but let's plan stuff! i'll pop him on the intro log later today.

I'm Bee. I was originally here with Detective Pikach when the game opened, but then I got swallowed by life.

But now that I am un-swallowed by life, I am bringing a new character: Klaes Ashford from the sci-fi series The Expanse. He is what I like to describe as a 'crispy fried space pirate', brutal, pragmatic, funny (at least he finds himself funny), loyal (with an asterisk)... Born and raised in the Asteroid Belt, he was a contraband runner for the Outer Planets Alliance (OPA), an organization generally viewed by many as a terrorist or extremist group due to their violent tactics. His priority is securing a unity in the Belt and through that securing a position of irrefutable power for Belters that will give them a seat at the table in the political wars between Earth and Mars.

He's from the end of The Last Jedi after doing really bad things onto of all the other bad things he's done. He has a lot of anger issues about democracy and the Republic and loves superweapons the size of planets. He's a talented engineer though (just don't ask what projects he's proud of) and is good with technology.

Hello Nighthawks! I'm very sure that's not a nickname but it sounded cool so I typed it anyway. I'm Siobhan, bringing Bodhi Rook, official redheaded stepchild of the biggest franchise in the world. (Seriously, there's not even merch for him. Star Wars is 90% merch.) He's a fascinating and miserable mix of guilt, anxiety, and impulsiveness who also kind of brought down the Death Star. He's fresh out of the worst couple days of anybody's life and frankly this place will seem relaxing compared to defecting from the empire, getting tortured and brain-violated by splinter rebels, defecting from the regular rebels, and getting blown up in the process of sending the Death Star plans to Leia. Be gentle with him. Though if you're not he's almost as likely to punch you as fold and start dithering. Try it and see.

I'm Inky, bringing you Castiel from Supernatural, an angel who has rebelled against heaven to stop the apocalypse, then started a civil war in heaven to stop the apocalypse again, then kind of went mad with power, then kind of lost his memories, then kind of went mad full stop, then kind of spent a year in Purgatory, then kind of was brainwashed by Heaven. Y-yay? He's doing his best, okay, and he doesn't get pop culture references, and he's maybe a little bit too blunt and literal sometimes.

Since he has a couple of rather invasive powers (reading thoughts, peeking at souls, dream walking, being a cutie pie full of depression, guilt and self-loathing) please check out his Permissions and Opt Outs.

If your character is well versed in Christian mythology, feel free to identify his name as a variant of Cassiel,the angel of Thursday, new changes, and travel; sometimes he is written as the angel of solitude and tears. His name translates to "Shield of God."

Greetings Beacon Bits ~~I love that that is our name now~~. This is Erica (Jason Grace's player) and I decided that one good boy wasn't enough, I needed to bring in another one.

This is Maes Hughes. He's from this really obscure anime called Fullmetal Alchemist, it's about one dumpster fire teenager and his brother going on a quest to bring their bodies back to normal after trying to bring back their mom from the dead and everything goes horribly wrong. Maes more or less adopts them (briefly) and helps them out, and then gets TOTALLY MURDERED FOR IT.

You never really recover from Maes's death...

And then I should also note that he woke up in a weird temple and saved the multiverse for a bit. That's right, Maes is NOT coming from the end of life the first time, he's coming from the end of the last game I had him in

acatalepsy_rpg. Which means to get here he had to die...again. He will be most annoyed.

On the plus side, the game he was last in granted him one magical ability: teleporting. It will be mostly useless until he follows Pokemon rules and visits a place first before he can 'warp.' But, you know, Maes's life can never be easy -- he's at least learned that much.

Hello everyone! My name is Luna and I'm extremely tired as I write this, so I apologize if this doesn't make sense. Doing tags when you're tired get really interesting when you go back to them to read them over later.

I'm extremely new to the game as well as the character, so I hope I do okay. I'm bringing the ace detective who's very kind and only wants to pursue the truth..... Well, sort of. Goro Akechi is quite a bit of a walking spoiler of Persona 5 at his death point so he's not as charming as he likes to pretend he is. He's coming from right after his fight with the others, so he's not going to be happy and much less receptive of things in his current mental state, he'll but probably try to cover it up anyway out of habit.

I haven't had the time to hash out all of my information just yet on his journal, so I don't have my permissions completely done, but they're pretty simple. Because he's coming in so late from the game, he'll have a lot of spoilers attached to him. If anyone here would rather remain spoiler free, please let me know and I'll do my best. That said, Persona 5 Royal came out on the 31st and I really want to remain as blind as possible to it, so I'd really like it if I could avoid any spoilers that come up about it.

I'm happy to bring you this adorable psycho, Villanelle from BBCs Killing Eve.

For the canon blind, she is a trained assassin for a shadowy organisation, who has a penchant for flamboyant murders and haute couture. She also has an obsessive, destructive love affair with the MI5 agent tasked with tracking her down. She's coming fresh from being stabbed by said object of affection and has conflicted feelings about that (well done Eve, you did murder! Not so well done, you murdered me).

She's going to be masquerading as a totally normal young woman, for as long as she can restrain her murder-y urges. Which probably won't be all that long... and then I would love to have gruesome kills and a manhunt and all that jazz.

hello everyone! my name's carlee and i've actually been here for a couple months now as elektra natchios from daredevil, but have been too busy at the start of the month to actually post one of these until now. coming in hot this month is dana scully of the x-files. you can read up on her a bit here if you're unfamiliar with the series, she essentially investigates cases that could possibly have to do with the paranormal and tries to prove that they're not (though at her canonpoint, she and her partner have been assigned to more menial investigative work).
